Job summary

ControlTech Automation is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to join a team of industry experts and support world-class solutions. You will validate engineered solutions, collect design packages, and coordinate handoffs between operations, engineering and manufacturing.

The role involves creating BOMs for non-engineered solutions, interfacing with clients and distributors, and researching alternate components to optimize delivery, design and cost. Travel may be required regionally.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related industrial automation fabrication experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for design, fabrication, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Validate engineered solutions.
• Collect entire design packages and build packages.
• Act as liaison between Operations, Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Schedule and execute engineering and manufacturing handoff meetings.
• Create Bills of Materials for non-engineered solutions.
• Interface with client and distributor representatives.
• Research alternate electrical components to optimize delivery, design and cost.
• Assist in designing custom Industrial Control Panels based on criteria.
