Job summary

ControlTech Automation is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to join a team of industry experts and support world-class solutions. You will validate engineered solutions, collect design packages, and coordinate handoffs between operations, engineering and manufacturing.

The role involves creating BOMs for non-engineered solutions, interfacing with clients and distributors, and researching alternate components to optimize delivery, design and cost. Travel may be required regionally.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related industrial automation fabrication experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for design, fabrication, and troubleshooting.

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ year(s) of related industrial automation fabrication experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to be applied in design, fabrication, and troubleshooting of systems.
• This position requires the ability to successfully execute multiple project responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
• This position supports the entire engineering team and reports directly to the Engineering Manager.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley hardware and networks is a plus but not a requirement.
• A Degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience.

Travel Requirements

• Regional travel may be required on a sporadic basis to support regional projects and activities.
