Job summary

Lamb Weston, Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on plant equipment in our South Carolina facility.

You will use SAP for work orders, write notifications, and ensure safety trainings are up to date while collaborating with a skilled team. This role requires alertness, strong troubleshooting, and adaptability to shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Understanding of instrumentation and equipment.
• Understanding of motor controls.
• Capable to be on shift with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices (ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes).
• Formal training or experience in mechanics, electricity, electrical schematics, with understanding of instruments and controls.
• Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at state and federal levels.
• Proficient in using Word, Excel, Outlook for records and logs.
• Proficient in reading schematics and wiring panels.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.
• Conducts inspections to determine repair needs to prevent breakdowns.
• Uses hand/power tools and test meters, tests and troubleshoots machines and equipment.
• Writes notifications for items observed needing attention.
• Communicates effectively with team and other departments.
• Willing to work overtime or off shift when needed.
