Job summary

Hunter Defense Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to contribute to the production of defense-related equipment. This role involves wiring, panel assembly and component integration to build complex assemblies.

You will follow documented work instructions, handle hand and power tools, and maintain strict safety and quality standards on the shop floor; flexibility to support multiple projects is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Electrical manufacturing experience preferred.
• 1-3 years industry experience preferred.
• Ability to read verbal and written instructions.
• Experience with small power tools and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Builds/installs electrical panels, harnesses and/or assembly components to upper level assemblies
• Assembles units that are typically, fully designed; previously produced; make to order products that are built in assembly cells or designated areas with a specific standard routing times
• Demonstrates the ability to wire point to point, panel assemblies and produce wire harnesses
• Follows visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted
• Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting
• Adheres to all quality and safety standards
• Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, work overhead with arms and sit or stand for several hours as a time
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per plant rules
