Steel Dynamics, Inc. is seeking candidates for an entry-level electrical trainee in Indiana, focusing on preventative and corrective maintenance and hands-on learning under supervision.

You will train with shift personnel, learn from an outlined curriculum, and perform electrical tasks under the direct supervision of an Electrician. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and practical skill development within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical installation, controls, networking or maintenance experience.
• Ability to work a 4 on/4 off swing shift.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Rockwell Software and Siemens PLCs.
• Experience with low, medium and high voltage equipment.
• Experience with transformers, AC motors and AC drives.
• Networking fundamentals, Robotics (ABB Preferred).
• Basic understanding of thermodynamics and electro-hydraulic systems.
