Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. in Terre Haute, IN, seeks a skilled maintenance technician responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of electrical equipment in the facility.

You will inspect equipment daily, complete PM tickets, install and repair equipment, inspect production lines, and troubleshoot failures, with emphasis on PLCs, inverters, hydraulics, and high bay cranes.

Qualifications

• Training in industrial electricity
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• PLC and INVERTER drive experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Know and understand electrical principles and electronics
• Diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of diverse electrical equipment
• Proficient with electrical instruments, hand and power tools
• Experience working on high bay overhead cranes
• Siemens PLC and INVERTER drive experience
