Job summary

The J. M. Smucker Co. is seeking an Electrician Team Lead to oversee a team of electricians, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The role requires technical expertise in electrical systems, supervision, and driving root-cause problem resolution.

You will identify recurring line issues, conduct safety and sanitation audits, and coordinate with contractors and vendors. Must have own tools and be able to work across shifts in a manufacturing plant.

Qualifications

• Experience as an industrial electrician in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of NEC and OSHA requirements and safe work practices.
• Experience with PLCs (Modicon and Allen Bradley) and VFDs; familiarity with HMIs preferred.

• Plan and schedule electrical projects; estimate time and materials.
• Supervise electricians and provide guidance on technical tasks.
