Job summary

West Georgia Technical College in Coweta is seeking an Electrical Systems Technology Instructor to deliver theory and hands-on training for the Electrical Systems Technology program, including day, evening, and online courses for traditional and dual-enrolled students.

The role requires a diploma in Electrical Systems Technology (or related degree) or a GA Electrical Contractor License, plus three years of industry experience as an electrician or apprentice and a valid driver's license;

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Systems Technology or related diploma/degree from an accredited institution.
• GA CILB-Electrical Contractor License accepted in lieu of a diploma.
• Three years out of the past five years as an Electrician or Electrical Apprentice.

Responsibilities

• Provides theory and lab instruction for Electrical Systems Technology.
• Instructs day, evening, hybrid, or online courses as needed.
• Evaluates student progress and maintains timely grades.
• Prepares and maintains documentation and reports.
