Job summary

PCL Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager - Electrical Systems in San Diego, CA. You will lead electrical and I&C projects from planning through execution, overseeing panelboards, PLCs, UPS, VFDs, MCCs, generators, and transformers, while managing documentation and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes contract administration, safety plans, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication to deliver on design and schedule commitments. Reporting to the Clearwater Way site daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• - Strong safety culture experience and knowledge of health, safety and environment principles.
• - Experience leading and mentoring construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides contract administration and technical support to a medium size construction project.
• Develops and implements project safety plan and leads health and safety practices.
• Ensures project aligns with design, budget, resources, quality and schedule.
• Manages risk, opportunities, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project.
• Negotiates subcontracts and major purchase orders and monitors progress.
