Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to design and implement utility-grade, industrial, commercial, and domestic electrical power systems.

You will lead engineering and project management efforts, ensuring on-schedule delivery, quality, and budget adherence. You will also develop electrical documents, guide junior engineers, and build strong client relations while maintaining compliance with applicable codes.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Ten or more years of experience in electrical design and engineering.
• Five or more years of experience managing project engineers and junior engineers.
• Experience with key electrical components of protection & control panels.

Responsibilities

• Leads the engineering and project management efforts on assigned projects and coordinates disciplines for cost-effective solutions.
• Ensures schedule adherence, quality standards, and budget compliance with regular reviews.
• Reviews schedule status and progress with clients and informs General Managers of issues.
• Develops electrical documents: scope, specs, data sheets, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Leads FAT inspections for relay panels, PDCs, and remote instrumentation enclosures.
• Mentors staff, develops training materials, and conducts seminars.
• Builds client relations and ensures overall project success.
• Exhibits thorough understanding of codes and industry practices; reviews estimates for technical offerings.
