Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Hardware System Integration Electrical Engineer for Mac to design, implement, test, and debug the electrical subsystem of its world-class Macs within a cross-functional team including mechanical, software, silicon engineering, and other module teams.

You will own schematic capture, PCB layout, power integration, and high-speed interfaces while aligning with system constraints and product goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field with practical work experience.
• Strong fundamentals in E&M physics and system architecture tradeoffs.
• Experience with I2C/SMBus, SPI, USB, PCIe, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt; lab tools and decoding.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical subsystems, perform schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Conduct simulations, bring-up, debug and validation for Apple silicon hardware.
• Collaborate across mechanical, software, silicon, and module teams to ensure integration.
• Support multi-disciplinary cross-functional work and system-level troubleshooting.
