Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks an Electrical Systems Engineer (Level 1 or 2) to bridge Systems Engineering and Electrical Design in Chandler, AZ. You will define architecture, interfaces, and timing, ensuring system objectives are met.

On-site role with travel; salary ranges and total rewards are highlighted. Requires ability to obtain Secret clearance and relevant electrical engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Experience with electrical systems engineering, requirements development, and ICDs.

Responsibilities

• Support development and refinement of the system electrical architecture including power distribution and interfaces.
• Define and document electrical interfaces between subsystems ensuring compatibility with system requirements.
• Participate in trade studies related to electrical architecture and interface strategies.
• Analyze communication flows across electrical and data buses, including timing and latency.
• Translate system requirements into electrical requirements and ensure traceability.
