Rondo Energy, Inc. in Alameda, CA seeks an Electrical Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and test industrial electrical systems for power distribution and controls. You will work with vendors, integrators, and contractors through design, procurement, testing, and startup phases.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, field support, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams. On-site at our Alameda HQ, salary ranges from $125,000 to $140,000 with excellent benefits and equity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–6 years of industrial electrical engineering experience.
• Experience developing MV/LV electrical equipment specifications.
• Experience with electrical calculations and sizing.
• Ability to read and develop single-line and schematic diagrams.
• Willingness to hands-on testing and field support.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop MV/LV electrical systems.
• Read and maintain electrical drawings and layouts.
• Develop specifications and datasheets for MV/LV equipment.
• Perform electrical calculations and equipment sizing.
• Coordinate transformers, switchgear, switchboards, and power panels.
• Review layouts, clearances, cable routing, grounding, and interfaces.
• Support RFQ prep, bids, and vendor reviews.
• Participate in FAT/SAT, commissioning, and startup.
