As part of the Lithium Engineering team, this role manages multiple projects requiring strong design and analytical skills to plan and develop low- and medium-voltage power, lighting, and signaling systems. Responsibilities include performing load calculations across design stages, preparing detailed electrical drawings and basis-of-design reports, selecting and specifying electrical equipment, and developing equipment lists, datasheets, and procurement packages.
The engineer will collaborate closely with R&D, controls, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, as well as external EPCM or MEP partners, to ensure designs meet project scope, safety requirements, and relevant standards. Additional duties include conducting design reviews and HAZOP assessments, coordinating cross-discipline work, managing projects within cost and schedule constraints, and contributing to document standards and drawing updates. The role also involves occasional travel (up to 20%) to pilot sites to support installation and commissioning activities.
