Zachary Piper Solutions in Hazelwood, MO is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. You will design, integrate, test, and support complex electronic and electrical systems for defense and aerospace applications, collaborating with customers and suppliers throughout the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in engineering or a related field and has hands-on experience with requirements analysis, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-1553, CAD tools and electrical schematics, and JIRA.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• Experience in system requirements analysis and design.
• Experience with communication protocols (e.g., RS422, MIL-STD-1553).
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 and CAD tools.
• Experience with project management tools like JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Engineering: Collaborating with customers to define and document system requirements.
• System Design: Translating requirements into hardware/software/system designs.
• Integration & Testing: Ensuring systems work as intended through rigorous testing and validation.
• Supplier Coordination: Monitoring supplier performance for compliance and integration.
• Lifecycle Support: Providing ongoing support for deployed systems.
• Technology Research: Investigating new technologies for potential use.
