Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks an Electrical/Architectural Engineer to design and document facility electrical power systems for healthcare projects using Revit.

You will coordinate a single building model with architects, engineers, and field teams to ensure code-compliant, manufacturable solutions. You will perform load calculations, select equipment, and develop wiring diagrams and 3D models for permit submittals, fabrication drawings, and field shop drawings.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering required.
• 3D design proficiency; Revit familiarity strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams.
• Reliable, deadline-conscious, and quality-driven.
• FE/EIT (or actively pursuing) preferred.
• Experience with facility electrical system analysis.
• Knowledge of NEC and related electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Design and document facility electrical power systems per client requirements.
• Engineer distribution systems and coordinate a building model with the multidisciplinary team.
• Perform analyses: power distribution loading, circuit sizing, selective coordination, and illumination studies.
• Lay out comms and life-safety systems (fire alarm) and create single-line diagrams.
• Convert designs into manufacturing-ready scopes: models, fabrication drawings, and construction packages.
• Create and maintain models for permit submittals, manufacturing drawings, and field shop drawings.
• Execute self-QA and participate in design reviews to ensure adherence to electrical codes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and field crews to improve implementation quality, throughput, and efficiency.
• Engage suppliers and vendors to develop specifications and select equipment.
