Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 2+ years of hardware system design and test experience across architecture to implementation.
• Experience with problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Able to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
• Strong communication within a team environment.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and system block diagrams.
• Cable design experience.
• Fundamental understanding of circuits and components.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation and testing methods.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Must reside in North Alabama or relocate to Huntsville area.

Responsibilities

• System level electrical architecture and design.
• Creation of block diagrams, electrical system requirements, cable specifications, and cable drawings.
• Component selection and derating activities.
• New hardware design verification testing.
• Support system level integration activities.
