Job summary

Leidos Defense in Huntsville is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to help solve complex electrical problems and develop top-level systems and sub-assemblies. You will document designs using KiCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, Visio, and related tools while collaborating with project teams on innovative solutions across power distribution, RF, and analog/digital circuits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a STEM discipline from an ABET-accredited school with 4+ years of direct applicable experience or MS degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Design work using CAD packages similar to SolidWorks and SolidWorks Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex electrical problems using off-the-shelf parts or custom solutions.
• Create system-level and sub-assembly block diagrams; document and release designs.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative solutions across applications.
