Job summary

The Kinetic Group, located in Lonoke, Arkansas, is seeking an Electrical Systems and Controls Engineer to design, implement, and support automation for our manufacturing processes. You will develop PLC controls, interfaces, and electrical systems for new equipment and upgrades, coordinating installation and training for success.

You will collaborate with engineers and management to trial proofs of concept, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, or associate with 4+ years under supervision.
5+ years of experience in developing and supporting custom manufacturing solutions using Allen Bradley programming software, plus familiarity with Bosch and others.
Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, Excel.
Experience with NEC and OSHA standards.
Ability to analyze problems and communicate via drawings and proposals.

Responsibilities

Develop or support details for new equipment, repairs, and machinery upgrades.
Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical systems for the plant.
Coordinate installation, maintenance, testing, and documentation to meet specs and codes.
Oversee electrical projects to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
Inspect installations and operations for conformance to design and safety standards.
Discuss existing or potential projects with engineers and management to develop proof of concept.
Plan and implement research methods applying electrical theory to projects.
Work on scalable technologies usable across multiple facilities.
Train electrical team members and troubleshoot production-line failures.
