Job summary

The Kinetic Group, based in Lonoke, Arkansas, is seeking an Electrical Systems and Controls Engineer to design, implement, and support advanced electrical and automation systems for manufacturing. The role emphasizes PLC controls, interfaces, and collaboration across teams to improve equipment and processes.

Candidates should have 4+ years of experience with electrical engineering in manufacturing, strong AutoCAD/ETAP/Excel skills, and familiarity with NEC/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or an related field; or an Associate’s degree with at least 4 years of experience under supervision of an Electrical Engineer.
• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting custom manufacturing solutions using Allen Bradley programming software; familiarity with Bosch and others.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, Excel and related design tools.
• Experience designing new electrical systems in an industrial facility with NEC and OSHA standards.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and communicate clearly using drawings and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Develop or support project details for new equipment, major repairs, and machinery upgrades.
• Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, and systems in the manufacturing plant.
• Coordinate construction, installation, maintenance, documentation, and testing to meet specifications and codes.
• Oversee electrical projects to ensure timely completion within budget.
• Inspect installations and observe operations for conformance to design and safety standards.
• Discuss and plan engineering projects with engineers and management to develop proofs of concept.
