Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an Electrical System Design Engineer in Huntsville, AL, onsite. You will develop system-level electrical architectures for aerospace and military hardware, create block diagrams and cable drawings, select components, and verify new hardware through testing.

The role requires a BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering (ABET) and 4+ years of hardware design experience, including cable/wiring diagrams and hands-on lab work with test equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 4+ years hardware system design experience, from architecture to test.
• Proven cable design experience with schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Develop system-level electrical architecture and design.
• Create block diagrams, requirements, cable specs, and drawings.
• Perform component selection, derating, and design verification testing.
• Support system integration and collaborate with experts to solve complex problems.
• Provide technical guidance and review work of junior staff.
