Job summary

Slope in Irvine, CA, is looking for an Electrical Sustainment Engineer to spearhead ruggedized electronic design for products evolving toward full-rate production. The role involves collaborating with the Architecture and Product Management team to deliver on system requirements and ensuring long-term reliability of complex electrical systems. Ideal candidates will have experience in full PCB design and troubleshooting, familiarity with power supply designs, and eligibility for U.S. Secret security clearance. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Self starter with the ability to design digital & analog electronics from concept to production.
• Ability to troubleshoot existing hardware and implement improvements.
• Develop clear documentation for design requirements and test reports.
• Manage full cycle PCB design, ensuring integration with the system.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of electrical integration activities.
• Provide in-field support for prototype and production products.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers for component design integration.
• Manage trade-offs for component selections against various requirements.
