Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Surveillance Engineer to support Procurement in supplier quality inspections and audits.

The role requires leadership in quality control of materials and equipment, and close collaboration with subcontractors to uphold Rosendin's standards. Ideal candidates have an Electrical Engineering background, 4 years of supplier quality experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 85% including potential international trips.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree required or equivalent experience.
• Broad working knowledge of electrical design, equipment, and materials for renewable energy and electrical projects.
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections and audits of purchased materials and equipment to meet customer and contract quality expectations.
• Ensure subcontracts meet Rosendin Procurement quality standards and customer expectations.
• Understand equipment specifications, drawings, and provide feedback on testing and inspections.
• Identify root causes of manufacturing problems and assist in corrective actions.
• Communicate inspection/audit results and recommend corrective actions.
• Support supplier/subcontractor prequalification and provide input on quality programs.
• Review NCRs and assist in corrective action plans with Quality Managers.
• Assist in rating supplier and subcontractor quality performance.
• Support program and policy improvement and maintain documentation.

Education

Electrical Engineering degree

Associate's degree in electrical technology
