Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of electrical maintenance experience, preferably in fixed plant operations.
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls and power distribution.
• Familiar with mining/fixed plant safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electricians and technicians, providing guidance and training.
• Develop work schedules and assign tasks to ensure timely maintenance and repair work.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of electrical systems, including power distribution, pumps, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and minimize downtime with effective solutions.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and safety standards are met.
• Coordinate electrical projects, manage budgets, estimates, and timelines.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repair work and prepare performance reports.
• Update electrical schematics and diagrams as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
