Job summary

Florence Copper is seeking an Electrician to ensure reliable operation of electrical systems at our Florence, AZ in-situ mining site. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades of high‑voltage equipment, controls, and mining‑specific systems.

You will lead safety compliance, mentor apprentices, read blueprints, and coordinate with engineers and operations to minimize downtime. A Journeyman or Master Electrician license and 5–7 years industrial experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in industrial/mining electrical systems.
• Senior or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with in situ mining equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair VFDs, PLCs, and control systems.
• Install, calibrate, and commission electrical equipment.
• Lead upgrades of electrical infrastructure and read blueprints.
• Ensure compliance with NEC/IEC and mining safety standards.
• Mentor junior electricians and coordinate with engineers.
• Document maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
