Job summary

The Caltrans Electrical Supervisor position is located in Mojave, CA, and reports to the Caltrans Maintenance Area Superintendent. You will supervise an electrical crew, schedule maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements on electrical inventory items at Mojave and nearby sites.

Normal work shift is 4/10, Mon-Thu, with overtime, night calls, and possible weekend work. A valid driver's license is required and some travel (up to 40%) may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Class C driver license.
• Class B or A driver license with N endorsement is desirable.
• Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Caltrans Electrical Supervisor exam.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule work for the electrical crew and building maintenance in Mojave.
• Follow safety policies and procedures as contained in the Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
• Maintain proper operation of assigned equipment.
