Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to supervise electrical field construction for comprehensive solar, storage, and substation projects. You will ensure safety, schedule adherence, and quality across multiple crews and sites, coordinating with Owners and subcontractors.

The role requires strong electrical construction experience, field supervision skills, and travel ability to support nationwide projects. A valid driver’s license and US work authorization are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field construction experience at a supervisory level (10 years preferred).
• Extensive electrical construction experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC, and IEEE standards.
• Experience with MV testing and terminations.
• Experience with SCADA systems in solar/electrical applications.
• Valid driver's license; willingness to travel.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical field construction activities across multiple sites and crews.
• Enforce safety procedures and lead by example.
• Manage project CPM schedules for timely, cost-effective completion.
• Review contracts, drawings, specs, schedules, and submittals from preconstruction to turnover.
• Coordinate with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and subcontractors; build strong relationships.
• Mentor and evaluate field personnel; conduct performance evaluations.
