Job summary

TIC Power division of Kiewit Corporation seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical installation efforts on power generation projects. You will mentor multiple crews, manage budgets, plan schedules, and ensure compliance with NEC/IEEE standards while coordinating with clients, engineers, and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in construction with leadership in electrical systems, and a strong safety and quality focus to drive project success across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in construction, with at least 3 years leading electrical installation projects in power generation or industrial settings.
• Self-motivated leader with strong initiative and decisive decision-making.
• Experience mastering Kiewit policies, procedures, and project management software.
• Excellent problem-solving and team morale maintenance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Hands-on electrical installation expertise; journeyman license preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and NFPA standards; OSHA safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop junior superintendents, foremen, and field engineers to foster a high-performance team.
• Review labor rates to protect budget and ensure fair compensation.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and support contract administration.
• Build positive relationships with clients and onsite staff for collaboration.
• Lead planning sessions with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to monthly progress and cost reports for project finances.
• Review and negotiate change orders to manage scope and schedule.
• Drive project closeout protocols and turnover processes.
• Maintain comprehensive daily logs and project documentation.
• Conduct performance evaluations and plan promotions up to General Foreman.
