Job summary

Kiewit Corporation in partnership with TIC Power seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical installation on major power-generation projects. You will manage multiple teams, oversee planning, scheduling and cost control, while ensuring NEC/IEEE compliance and safety standards on site.

This role requires hands-on leadership, budget discipline, and strong client and subcontractor relationships to deliver projects safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction with 3+ years in superintendent leadership roles.
• Hands-on electrical installation experience; journeyman license preferred.
• Strong initiative, decision-making and self-motivation.
• Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA; OSHA safety protocols.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior superintendents and foremen for high-performance teams.
• Review and approve labor rates to maintain budget integrity.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings to streamline communication.
• Build relations with clients and onsite staff for collaboration.
• Lead planning sessions with clients, engineers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to monthly progress reports and cost updates.
• Review, approve and negotiate change orders.
• Drive project closeout protocols and turnover processes.
• Maintain daily records and documentation for compliance.
• Perform timely evaluations for direct reports and promotions.
