Job summary

Smart Synergies in Thacker Pass, NV is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to supervise electrical operations on a major project. You will lead craft professionals, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with specifications, schedules, and budgets while adapting to a flexible roster.

The role requires a University/BS in Engineering or Construction Management with extensive field supervision experience in heavy industry; strong knowledge of electrical systems; and proven

Qualifications

• University/BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management plus 10-13 years of experience or 14-17 years of equivalent industry experience in-lieu of a degree.
• Heavy industrial direct hire union construction experience.
• Experience with electrical equipment installation through final termination and operation.
• Strong communication, safety leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical leadership to personnel assigned to the area and lead safety meetings.
• Inspect site for unsafe conditions and take corrective action.
• Coordinate safety training and enforce safe work practices.
• Monitor craft activities to ensure compliance with specs and schedules.
• Plan manpower and equipment, prepare material requisitions, and track progress.
