JE Dunn's Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) combines Mission Critical, Advanced Industries, and Industrial & Manufacturing into one high-performing team focused on cutting-edge work to serve innovative clients on large industrial, manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects. As part of the Advanced Facilities team, you'll work on some of the most advanced construction projects nationwide, growing your career alongside our diverse team of industry professionals.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core
  • Leads all aspects of the company's safety culture, demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment and mentoring others. Investigates safety incidents and retrains staff as needed.
  • Manages subcontractors and organizes overall job workflow.
  • Oversees company staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs such as Safety, Quality, and EEO for small projects or parts of larger projects.
  • Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
  • Coordinates and manages the project site.
  • Leads meetings including daily standups and weekly trade meetings.
  • Participates in project meetings and manages project schedules in conjunction with the Project Manager.
  • Tracks and monitors project budget and costs, and communicates key information to stakeholders.
  • Maintains project documentation and updates drawings, logs, and notebooks.
  • Supports project closeouts and coordinates activities with stakeholders.
  • Participates in project pursuit processes and negotiations.
  • Recruits top talent and promotes diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn.
Additional Core Responsibilities
  • Manages fairly complex projects from start to finish, assuming responsibility for scheduling, safety, and quality.
  • Identifies and manages project risks, and participates in project pursuits and negotiations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Effective communication, presentation, and proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, and organizational resources.
  • Ability to build relationships, manage budgets, and apply Lean principles.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
  • At least 5 years of construction experience and 3 years of field supervision.
Working Environment
  • Valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, travel may be required, and exposure to extreme conditions.
