JE Dunn's Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) combines Mission Critical, Advanced Industries, and Industrial & Manufacturing into one high-performing team focused on cutting-edge projects for innovative clients, including large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. As part of AFG, you'll work on some of the most advanced construction projects nationwide, growing your career alongside a diverse team of industry professionals.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core
  • Lead all aspects of the company's safety culture, demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment and investigating safety incidents.
  • Manage subcontractors and organize overall job workflow.
  • Oversee company staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs such as Safety, Quality, and EEO for small projects or parts of larger projects.
  • Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
  • Coordinate and manage the project site.
  • Lead meetings including daily standups and weekly trade meetings.
  • Participate in project meetings and manage project schedules in conjunction with the Project Manager.
  • Track and monitor project budgets and costs using project management systems.
  • Communicate key project information to all stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation and update drawings and logs.
  • Manage material and equipment needs.
  • Support procurement and approval processes.
  • Assist in selecting tools and equipment for self-perform operations.
  • Manage timecard approval processes.
  • Ensure quality compliance and support project closeouts.
  • Participate in project pursuits and negotiations.
  • Recruit top talent and promote a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Additional Responsibilities - Superintendant 2
  • Manage complex stand-alone projects from start to finish.
  • Handle management, scheduling, safety, and quality for assigned projects.
  • Identify and manage project risks.
  • Manage deliverables from internal resources.
  • Participate in project pursuits and negotiations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, project management, and scheduling software.
  • Knowledge of construction management fundamentals, project processes, and trades.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of construction experience and 3 years of field supervision.
Working Environment
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in various conditions, and work non-traditional hours.
