Electrical Superintendent - Mission Critical - Traveler (AFG)

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead safety initiatives, promote an injury-free environment, investigate incidents, and retrain staff as needed.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and project workflow.
  • Oversee project staff, safety, quality, and compliance on assigned projects.
  • Develop work plans, coordinate project activities, and manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, manage documentation, and support project closeouts.
  • Recruit top talent and promote diversity and inclusion.
Additional Responsibilities for Superintendent 2
  • Manage complex projects from start to finish, including scheduling, safety, and quality.
  • Identify and manage project risks, and participate in project pursuits and negotiations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years construction experience, with 3+ years in field supervision.
  • Experience with Lean principles is a plus.
Working Environment & Benefits
  • Valid driver’s license required; ability to lift 50 pounds; travel may be necessary.
  • Work may involve extreme conditions and non-traditional hours.
