Job summary

Hatch is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to join our California client sites in Bakersfield. You will report to the Construction Manager and lead on-site electrical works, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence across multiple construction activities.

You will manage contractors, coordinate with field engineering, scheduling and commissioning teams, and drive handover readiness. The role requires a technical degree or journeyperson certification with extensive supervision

Qualifications

Technical degree or diploma in an Engineering or construction related program, or Journeyperson Certification with 10+ years of supervisory/management experience.
Experience as Electrical Superintendent or similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of HSE policies and procedures and ability to lead safety-focused work.
Experience with electrical systems installation and testing in large projects.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize and direct construction activities within assigned areas.
Lead and mentor the site electrical team to meet quality, safety and schedule targets.
Collaborate with contractors, engineering, and control staff to ensure project objectives are met.
Coordinate with Client representatives and internal teams on interfaces and progress.
Ensure CWPs are executed safely and to required standards and costs.
