Job summary

Hatch is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to join our EPCM construction team on client sites in the US. You will lead electrical construction activities, mentor crews, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence across major projects.

The role requires 10+ years of supervisory experience, strong HSE knowledge, and proficiency with electrical systems, reporting, and construction software. Travel to domestic sites is expected as part of project delivery.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or diploma in Engineering or construction, or Journeyperson Certification.
• 10+ years of construction supervisory/management experience.
• Experience as Electrical Superintendent or similar role.
• HSE policies/procedures knowledge with safety focus.
• Major surface/underground electrical work packages experience.
• Electrical systems installation and testing; QA and standards.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Bluebeam and related software.
• Understanding EPCM project delivery and budgets.
• Ability to manage schedules and contractor performance.
• Willingness to travel for domestic projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractor practices align with HSE and project objectives.
• Lead site teams and coordinate with supervisors, QA and safety staff.
• Plan, coordinate, and optimize construction activities and resources.
• Review CWPs and ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
• Conduct jobsite coordination meetings and progress reviews.
• Monitor cost/schedule trends and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with project controls for timely reporting.
• Oversee handover, punch lists, and commissioning readiness.
