Job summary

Hatch Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to join our Project Delivery Group and oversee electrical construction across client sites in Salt Lake City. The role requires coordinating with construction managers, field engineers and commissioning teams to align with project objectives.

You will lead the electrical team, ensure safety compliance, manage schedules and budgets, and communicate with client representatives to deliver quality outcomes on time.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or diploma in an Engineering or construction related program, or Journeyperson Certification with 10+ years of construction supervisory/management experience in underground mining and surface construction in heavy industrial or institutional construction.
• Previous experience in an Electrical Superintendent or similar role.
• Solid knowledge/understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies/procedures and demonstrated HSE focus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that practices are implemented by contractors in support of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and project / business objectives.
• Champions a zero incident culture by working with contractors to promote safe and hazard-free work and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Manage personnel and construction activities within the assigned area, in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide direction to the team, mentoring and leadership to ensure adherence to project procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with discipline supervisors, QA and Safety personnel during construction.
• Ensure that all CWPs are planned safely, with quality, on schedule and within cost.
