Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to oversee industrial electrical installations, including underground duct banks, above-ground conduit, cable trays, and MV/LV terminations. This role requires substantial time in the field to ensure safety, quality, and productivity across the scope of work. Travel/relocation to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work.
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing safety, quality and production.
• Planning, scheduling and execution of field operations ensuring compliance with contract specifications and electrical codes.
• Coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Develop schedules based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion.
• Resolve employee conflicts and scheduling difficulties and inform management as appropriate.
• Ensure safety, attendance and workplace behavior policies are followed.
