Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on industrial electrical installations, including underground duct banks, conduit, cable trays, terminations, and equipment installation. The role requires field presence, strong safety, quality, and productivity oversight, and involvement across multiple project sites.

Candidates should have 5+ years in industrial electrical scopes of work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work. Candidates for this role are not required to have Superintendent experience, those who have performed as a foreman or general foreman are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing the performance of safety, quality and production
• Planning, scheduling and execution of field operations ensuring compliance with contract specifications, electrical code requirements and quality procedures for your assigned scope of work
• Coordinate and interface with other superintendents and subcontractors, to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence
• Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion to support the overall project schedule
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate
• Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company’s non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies
