Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to provide field leadership and technical support for large-scale commercial electrical projects from Richmond, VA. You will oversee change-outs, retrofits, and installations while directing day-to-day activities of 10–15 electricians.

This role emphasizes safety and quality within budget, and you will collaborate with project managers to evaluate labor and material needs for on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience as Lead Electrician/Foreman/Superintendent on commercial projects.
• Experience with commercial electrical and control systems.
• Ability to interpret blueprint drawings and plans.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet usage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate work activities for electrical mechanics, apprentices, and helpers.
• Manage 10–15 electricians at a time.
• Provide guidance and demonstrate best practices to other electricians and apprentices.
• Perform/aid in electrical installation when needed.
• Prioritize safety and promote a safety-first culture.
• Collaborate with Electrical Project Manager to discuss labor and material requirements and evaluate progress to meet schedule, budget, and quality standards.
