Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking a Senior Electric Superintendent to lead on-site teams across multiple projects, ensuring safety, budget compliance, and adherence to contract documents.

The role demands 10+ years of supervisory experience, advanced electrical and administrative skills, and the ability to coordinate trades, review blueprints, and manage manpower and schedules employing Procore, BIM, and Microsoft Teams. Travel within the regional area may be required.

Qualifications

• Ten-plus years of industry experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Extensive experience handling personnel issues.
• Excellent electrical, administrative and analytical skills.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain Competent Person certification.
• Ability to read and understand project documents in English.
• Ability to manage day-to-day tasks and asset management.
• Proficiency with current technology (computer/tablet/smartphone).
• Strong foresight and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work to precise standards and interpret technical data.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned trade workers.
• Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules.
• Estimate worker-hour requirements for project completion.
• Interpret blueprints and job orders for installation.
• Review and release shop drawings and spool drawings.
• Inspect work to ensure conformance with specs.
• Coach teammates to work safely and productively.
• Direct work of all trades as needed.
• Monitor manpower and tools for efficient use of resources.
• Schedule material and equipment deliveries and attend meetings.
