Job summary

Sarasota Electric LLC seeks an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee projects and lead field crews in a fast-paced electrical construction environment. You will coordinate labor, materials, schedules, safety, and documentation to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in electrical construction, plan interpretation, and cost control, with NEC/NFPA and OSHA knowledge. Leadership and communication skills are essential for success on site.

Qualifications

Experience in foreman or superintendent roles in electrical construction.
Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, local codes, and OSHA standards.
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
Experience managing crews, schedules, labor productivity, and material costs.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Journeyman license preferred; OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily field operations for large commercial electrical projects.
Plan and coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and project schedules.
Lead, train, and supervise field employees.
Ensure installations comply with project specs, NEC, local codes, and OSHA standards.
Monitor labor productivity, job costs, material usage, and project progress.
Conduct weekly coordination and safety meetings.
Maintain daily reports, look-ahead schedules, and project documentation.
Coordinate punch-list and project closeout.
Communicate updates to the Project Manager and leadership.
Build relationships with customers, contractors, inspectors, and partners.
