Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. seeks a full-time Licensed Electrical Superintendent to join our team in Colorado. The role oversees projects from award to completion, requiring high customer service to build and maintain relationships.

Electrical construction experience is required and strong NEC knowledge is essential. Responsibilities include leading crews of 20+ workers, planning installations, ensuring safety, coordinating with PM, and maintaining schedules and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Journeyman license and extensive electrical installation experience.
• Ability to apply NEC standards to field installations and safety plans.
• Experience supervising crews of 20+ and coordinating with PMs.
• Proficient in Outlook, Bluebeam, Word and Excel; strong computer skills.
• Clean driving record and background check; able to lift 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from award to final construction with emphasis on safety, quality and production goals.
• Diplomatically manage crews and provide training and feedback.
• Plan layout and material quantities; coordinate with PM for changes.
• Establish safety plans, assess risks and ensure compliance with contract drawings.
• Coordinate material requisitions, delivery schedules, and trade coordination.
• Lead project meetings and document daily progress and obstacles.
• Ensure timely arrival of materials and labor; monitor short- and long-term schedules.
• Demonstrate strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Job description

Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for afull-time Licensed Electrical Superintendentto join our team.

Our Electrical Superintendentmay oversee the projects from the award of the project to the final construction. The position requires a high level of customer service to build and maintain relationships. Experience with electrical construction background is required.

MAJOR DUTIES

• Have previous successfully supervised projects with crews ranging from 20+ personnel, meeting safety, quality, and production goals.
• Diplomatically manage the crews and provide appropriate training, positive and constructive feedback.
• Plan and layout the project including planned installation materialtake-offquantities and toolneeds basedon the project schedule.
• Establish a site-specific safety plan, evaluate project risks to personnel and equipment to mitigate them.
• Understand, review and implement the installation per the contract drawings and specifications.
• Evaluate the contracted scope of work with the PM to determine change requests and schedule effect.
• Plan the project’s material, equipment, and labor needs fortimelyarrival to and from the site.
• Monitor daily progresstotheshort termand long-term schedules to meet commitments. Provide daily written documentation of activities and obstacles.
• Conduct and participate in project meetings as needed and provide necessary trade coordination.
• Coordinate and communicate with the PM and purchasing manager with detailed material requisitions, and delivery schedules.
• Establish and implement prefab project-specific tasks.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Superior internal and external communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) with the ability to be a leader by acknowledging contributions by others.

• Actively contributes to a positive team environment.

• Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliancetoscheduled work hours.

• Demonstrates knowledge of the National Electric Code.

• Be a self-starterand bedependable.
• Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Colorado Journeyman license.
• Seven plus years of installation experience with the latest electrical code, means, and methods.
• Be able to apply the latest technological techniques to maximize employee safety, quality, and production.
• Have moderate to high-level computer skills including Outlook, Bluebeam, Word, and Excel.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to lift 100lbs.
• Have safety training related to electrical and general construction such as OSHA 30 hour, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, scissor lift, forklift, Lock Out/Tag Out, and trade-specific.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
