Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking an Electrician II for our Electrical Division in Charleston, SC. You will manage field operations for your project from day one, ensuring on-schedule completion within budget and per project specs.

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for industrial machinery for a diverse client base. The ideal candidate has at least two years of electrician experience and strong knowledge of electrical networks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an electrician program at a vocational school or an electrician apprenticeship.
• Current electrician license.
• 2+ years of electrician experience preferred.
• Proficient with standard industry tools and techniques.
• Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review job calls each day.
• Identify electrical problem areas on‑site that need replacement or repair.
• Perform repair or replace wiring when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and ensure that the electrical system is working properly before leaving the client location.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components for industrial machinery. You will work with residential and commercial clients, diagnosing and repairing electrical wiring problems in a variety of settings—including outlets, lighting, servers, and electronic equipment connections. The ideal candidate has at least two years of professional experience and extensive knowledge of different types of electrical networks.
