Job summary

ARCO is seeking an Electrician II in Charleston, SC to manage field operations for your project from day one, with emphasis on safety and quality. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for residential and commercial clients, reading blueprints, diagnosing problems, and delivering on schedule and budget.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of electrician experience, completion of an electrician program or apprenticeship, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an electrician program or apprenticeship.
  • 2+ years of electrician experience preferred.
  • Proficient with standard industry tools and techniques.
  • Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license in your state.

ARCO Design/Build is currently seeking an Electrician II for our Electrical Division in Charleston, SC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage field operations for your project from day one. Our goal will be to empower you in the field and give you, as well as the rest of your Project team, all the tools you'll need to bring your project to completion on schedule, within budget, and per the project specifications!

A Day in the Life:

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, as well as electrical components for industrial machinery. We work with both residential and commercial clients, so you must be able to diagnose and repair electrical wiring problems in a variety of homes and commercial buildings, such as outlets, lighting, servers, and electronic equipment connections. Our ideal candidate has at least two years of professional experience and has extensive knowledge of different types of electrical networks.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Completion of an electrician program at a vocational school or an electrician apprenticeship
  • 2+ years of electrician experience preferred
  • Proficient with standard industry tools and techniques
  • Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s licenses in your state of residence.
