Job summary

Raytheon’s Flight Avionics Department seeks an Electrical Subsystems GS Technical Lead to guide a cross-functional team through complex hardware development, trade studies, and interfaces across hardware and software domains.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, risk management, and collaboration with suppliers and customers, with travel as needed and a DoD Secret clearance requirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Ten years of experience in RF product and subassembly design, integration, and production support.
• Experience leading a technical team on a complex subsystem.
• Knowledge of RF sub-systems, circuit card assembly, RF test, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical integrity of the GS, including TDP development, validation and integration.
• Manage technical risk for the GS.
• Oversee GS failure investigations and component-level design reviews.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers in lab or field environments.
• Guide teams through hardware systems lifecycle and architecture development.
