Qualifications

• Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Willing to travel 15% with some overnights.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and design electrical distribution construction standards.
• Evaluate and monitor manufacturers’ designs for compliance.
• Develop field studies of material and construction standards.
• Update and maintain substation and transmission construction standards.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Ability to express technical information clearly

Field inspection capability

Knowledge of industry standards and practices

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school

Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certificate

Professional Engineering (PE) license for Senior level
