Job summary

The candidate should hold a BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with 5+ years of utility experience and strong analytical, problem-solving and communicative abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from ABET accredited engineering school.
- Ability to express technical and non-technical information clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Engineer and design electrical distribution construction standards for reliable, cost-effective facilities aligned with US standards.
- Evaluate manufacturer designs for compliance and resolve field-related issues and material trends.
- Conduct field studies and research to recommend modifications or replacements of materials/items.
- Update and maintain substation and transmission construction standards with input from related departments.
- Provide technical and application training for Construction Planners and field personnel.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and standardization in workflows and standards.
- Participate in team meetings, offering ideas and collaborative input.
