Job summary

multiSEARCH is seeking an experienced Technical Training Officer for a four-month contract in Florida. You will train Electrical/Millwright artisans and Solar Service Technicians, delivering curricula, developing POEs, and refining training materials.

The role requires an N3 or NQF4 with a National Trade Test in Electrical, plus at least 3 years post-apprenticeship experience and proficiency in MS Office. Installation Electrician registration is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold N3 or relevant NQF4 and pass National Trade Test in electrical.
• Registered Installation Electrician.
• Minimum 3 years industry experience post apprenticeship.
• Computer literacy in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure training delivered using appropriate methods so learners gain prescribed knowledge and skills.
• Use assessment techniques to aid learner development and competencies.
• Conduct various forms of assessments and moderations.
• Provide course reports and assist in compiling POEs.
• Design, develop and refine training materials and resources.
• Contribute to customized training to meet customer needs.
• Maintain expert knowledge of the Electrical trade through CPD and special projects.
• Ensure training equipment is maintained and ready for use.
• Instill health and safety practices in learners and ensure OHSA compliance.
