Job summary

RTX at White Sands Missile Range, NM, is seeking a Test Solutions Engineer to join the TSE team. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary group to develop and update custom test equipment for launcher, radar, and missile test systems, and support design reviews.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware integration, troubleshooting with oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and other test gear, and driving integration, verification, and qualification testing to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
• Experience troubleshooting with commonly used test equipment, including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, DMMs.
• Hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating object-oriented software applications.
• Experience reading or generating schematic diagrams.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and update custom test equipment hardware for launcher, radar, and missile non-tactical test systems.
• Support critical process gates, including design reviews, to ensure successful project execution.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP connection-based systems and Circuit Card Assembly troubleshooting.
• Perform integration, verification, and qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications.
• Work across disciplines to address program requirements while ensuring cost and schedule objectives are met.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, and a commitment to innovation in support of our mission.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed (~10–20%).
