Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Site Observation Specialist to perform on-site evaluations of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with plans and codes. The role involves documenting field conditions, communicating with engineers, and assisting in system layout and specifications.

Travel to multiple project sites is ~50% of the time. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in design/installation/inspection of electrical systems, and read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years' experience in design, installation and construction administration of electrical systems.
• Discipline-specific certifications preferred; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specs.
• Advanced knowledge of industry codes, guides, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform job site observations to ensure compliance with plans, specs, designs, codes, standards and regulations.
• Document site and field conditions and help resolve nonconformances.
• Provide technical information and assistance to engineers or team leaders.
• Prepare clear responses and reports for contractors.
• Assist in preparing system layouts, drawings, schematics, and specifications based on site observations.
